Jonathan Fisher Memorial, Inc.

This is a contemporary photograph of the surviving pear tree which has been on the property since it was planted by Jonathan Fisher. The picture was taken in winter from the house looking toward Blue Hill Bay which would have been visible in those times when the area had been logged to make room for homestead and pastures.

The location can be referenced in the painting Morning View - Blue Hill Village, which is described in the exhibit "A New Look at an Old Painting"
